Protective Cage for Wood-Burning Stove — Required with Panoramic Window

A purpose-built protective cage for the Harvia M2 wood-burning stove. Essential when combining a wood-burning stove with a full panoramic window — protects the glass from the intense radiant heat of the fire.
FULL DESCRIPTION:
If you are fitting both the Harvia M2 wood-burning stove and a full panoramic window, this cage is not optional — it is required.
The Harvia M2 produces significant radiant heat at the front of the stove. When a full panoramic glass window is installed at the opposite end of the sauna, that heat needs to be managed to protect the glass from thermal stress over time. The protective cage does exactly that.
Constructed from solid wood and fireproof fibre-cement plates, the cage surrounds the front-facing section of the stove and deflects the direct radiant heat away from the panoramic glass. It does not reduce the heating performance of the stove — the heat still circulates freely throughout the sauna — it simply ensures the glass is not subjected to prolonged direct radiant exposure.
This is a precision-engineered component designed specifically for this application. It fits the Harvia M2 cleanly and installs as part of the standard assembly process.
